Effectiveness of soybean sprout protection from wireworms in the central zone of Кrasnodar territory

The results of studying effectiveness against wireworms of insecticidal protectants Tabu Neo, SK (400+100 g/l), 1.2 l/t, Semaphore, TPS (200 g/l), 2.0 l/t, Commander, VRK (200 g/l), 2.0 l/t are provided; with the pests, which are among the most dangerous pests of crop sprouts. Field tests were conducted in 2016 and 2017 in conditions of the central zone of Krasnodar Territory, on the Lira variety. As a chemical standard, the preparation Akiba, VSC (500 g/l) (standard), 1.0 l/t, was used. The biological effectiveness of the insecticide disinfectant Tabu Neo, SK (400+100 g/l) against wireworms was quite high (93.0–97.5 %) and even higher than the chemical standard. Incrustation of soybean seeds with Tabu Neo, SK (400+100 g/l), 1.2 l/t, yielded additionally 0.13–0.16 t/ha. The results obtained allow us to recommend the use of the drug to protect the seeds and seedlings of soybean against wireworms.
