Abstract

The paper discusses the concept of hybrid cattle monitoring based on the integration of local positioning systems (UWB) and intelligent video surveillance. The limitations of traditional observation methods are highlighted, and the effectiveness of a combined approach to improve the accuracy of tracking an object's location within a frame, as well as monitoring animal behavior and physiological state, is substantiated. Methods for synchronizing data from positioning sensors and video analytics are described, along with the possibilities of using this approach to automate zootechnical processes and enable early diagnosis of cattle diseases.
